A busy day on Sunday with 4 plays, going 3-1. I went 4-1 in the Westgate NFL Supercontest with Jacksonville my only loser. That puts me at 16-9 or 64% heading into week 7!
We had two 1 unit plays in the NFL and both won easily with Minn +3 and the Giants +11.5 both winning outright!
In the NHL we had a 1/2 unit play on Buffalo +142 which won 3-1.
MLB continues to be in a postseason slump for plays losing with the Cubs +142 1-4. That was a 1 unit play.
Today so far I have sent out no plays.
It’s always fun to handicap during the NFL season especially when having to pick 5 teams for the Westgate NFL Supercontest. It has always been the strongest sport for me to handicap. And I stay on top if it most likely more than any other sport. The NFL also lends itself to contrarian thinking more than any other sport.
The public’s footprints on the wagering are the easiest to see and rarely hidden.
Now at 64% in the Westgate NFL Supercontest, you would think I just might be in the top 10 or near at this point. Not a chance:)
With over 2,000 entrants I need to get up to around 67 % to make it even to cash in the top 50. To win, over 70%. A tough assignment to say the least but we will see when the smoke clears:)
