Sunday we went 3-3 on 1 unit plays. In the NFL we won with the Bears +7.5 and lost with Cleveland +8. We also had a total in the NFL with Indy under 53 and was an easy winner. Then we had 3 totals in college hoops winning with Duke under and losing with Florida Intl and Creighton Under.
Today so far I have sent out no plays.
In the Hilton NFL Contest, I went 1-1-3. Bears covered, San Fran tied and the Rams, Phil, and Cleveland lost. So I am right at the 50% mark after a good out of the gate start to the season.

Betting is 76% on Oakland with the line moving from -5 to -6-117. Models favor Oakland. Variables slightly favor Houston and Public betting favors Houston. With what I look at a split on the game this game is an easy pass for me tonight.

I received a few emails about the lack of plays so far on college hoop sides. My handicapping of college hoods has developed over the last 4 years. Before then I never got into handicapping college hoops as I was playing poker full time and just did not have the desire to spend the enormous amount of time involved.
The first year I had quite a few plays and honestly I had the benefit of positive variance for year 1 and year 2. I always look over what my methods are with a critical eye and that was the conclusion I reached. So last year I cut back on the sides but increased the totals. And then even this season the sides have been cut back again as a result of my backtesting and refining my college hoop methods.
So that is where we are at now. There will be a number of plays in college hoop sides. It is just that early in the season a lot of what I look at does not kick in . I have no desire to get buried early in the season by stretching sides in college hoops.
I had to take a break as two plays developed that I just sent out.
Also, the SMS for Verizon is very spotty right now. They have been having outages so I suggest if you are only on SMS to get signed up with Twitter so that no plays are missed.
I am cutting it short today as I have a number of things to do before the 4:00 games.
