I received an email asking if they should be concerned or do anything differently if the line they have is better then what I have posted.
My response:
All things being equal if you can get a better line take it. I am always looking around for the best lines and almost without exception i get a better price then the nhl price I post on here.
I say all things being equal since some people do not want to fade steam moves. My thoughts are though that over the long hall if you bet opposite the steam you will show a profit. Betting on the steam after the move can be very unprofitable.
