Saturday we had no plays and no big move games (very rare) however we did have 1 setup. The setup was Yankees Under 9 -104. This game was an easy 2-1 winner.
As I discussed a few days ago I am ready to start releasing MLB Totals as 1/2 unit plays for sports betting. However at the last minute, I decided that perhaps it’s best to put these out for setups this season and go with plays next season. Thus the setup instead of a play.
I am always open to reconsidering but as If I err it will always be on the conservative side. Not only is that the prudent way to approach handicapping sports but really the only way. There is much to uncertainty even when you have real time confirmation of your approach.
Running simulations along with back-testing is fraught with the potential for data mining bias. I minimize this by almost always incorporating a % betting screen for the game. This has been a rock solid screen for as long as I have been handicapping. Granted it’s not what it used to be but still we are a long way off from discarding it as unusable.
But still always best to be conservative in your sports betting approach considering well over 90% of the sports bettors are lifetime losers in this endeavor:)
Today I have sent out no plays but did send out 5 big move games last night.
Going to make it short this morning as I have had an unexplained java-script problem with windows 10 I have been attempting to solve the last 2 hours!
Good Luck Today
