Can we beat 2016 Handicapping results in 2017??? Will be tough…but I will be trying!!!

Plays slowed up on Monday with only 1 play in College Hoops and it was a winner with W. Carolina +7.5  65-70.

I had several other games on the radar and they were close but as I am prone to do is not stretch plays. This rule has served me well over the years. It’s tough to be patient but it’s a necessity if you’re going to produce yearly positive results betting sports.

Which leads me to 2016.

A subscriber put together the numbers of 2016:

1,009 plays ROI of 5.9%, win percentage ATS of over 55%.

In addition, you know you have had a good year when you get the following emails:

“Hi Rick, Happy New Year. I have been following your picks since a friend recommended I check out your site a few months ago. I finished 2016 net positive with proper bet sizing and keeping my phone close for your twitter blasts. I have enjoyed learning more about handicapping by reading your thoughts on this site. Would it be possible to send you a token of appreciation to you? Possibly your law firm? Again, happy holidays and new year to you and your family, health and success in 2017. Best Regards,”

And another:

“Hey Rick,

Wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! My friends and I have had great success betting your picks this past year and wanted to thank you for your hard work and diligence. You single-handedly made watching the entire NCAA tournament and college/NFL season that much more fun!

I’ll be taking a break from betting for the next few months, but will be cheering you and my friends on who will continue to bet!

Lastly, if you won’t mind, as a small token of our appreciation, we would love to send you a fruit/gift basket or gift card or something that you would find useful, so please let me know what that something might be!”

Usually, service subscribers betting sports are looking for the nearest bridge to either jump off of or to push the service owner off of:)

It’s very rare for a service to not only produce these results but also get a reaction like this from subscribers. And I do appreciate it. It’s a good way to begin 2017.

It’s very similar to being in business with a partner. Typically by the end of the partnership, people are suing each other and have made bitter enemies. My one business relationship with an M.D. that invested in my retail chain has produced Christmas cards yearly from my ex-partner. A real rarity:)

Ok back to sports betting.

Today I have sent out very early two plays. In money line sports I am going to try to get these out as early as possible. Similar to baseball the lines have been moving substantially in the NHL. Let’s see how that works out.

For spread sports, however, I will be putting the plays out 5 to 15 min before game time.

Finally, I am doing a bit more promoting on my other twitter feed. Hopefully, this is not a concern for subscribers that follow that feed also. But it’s the easiest way for me to promote this site. If anyone has any other ideas regarding promoting this site I would enjoy hearing from you.

Good Luck Today
