One game tonight in College Football:
Appalachian State
UL Monroe
Betting is 68% on the Road Favorite with the line moving from -10.5-110 to -10-106. So just off the top, we have a reverse line move that favors Lafayette. This is also confirmed somewhat with other books. Models, however, are split on the game. Variables favor app state. Public betting favors Monroe.
So a mixed bag on tonight’s game. I would be inclined to bet Monroe if the variables lined up with the game also. But they are on the other side. So this game is a pass for me tonight.
Monday we had no plays as both MLB games did not uncover anything I thought had value.
Today we have a college football game along with the beginning of the NHL Season.
The 2015 NHL Season brought us +13.41 Units on 101 Plays. A very solid 2015 Season. I will be handicapping the games again this season and will send them out shortly before game times unless some are obvious.
In addition, we have the NBA preseason in full swing but typically there is not much to go on preseason NBA. I will post as 1/2 unit plays any that do develop.
In the NBA last season, we were +5.45 units
Needless to say, I am looking forward to both the NBA and NHL to see if we can continue off of a very solid season last year.
So far today no plays have been sent out with none pending.
With NFL week 6 starting tomorrow I am sitting 16-9 in the Hilton NFL Super Contest and tied for 57th place out of almost 1900 entrants. A very good place to be heading into week 6. Typically I make my run about now from much further back:) We will see!
