One top 25 matchup today:
Betting is 46% on the Home Favorite Indiana with the line staying steady at -6. Both models and variables are neutral on the game. However with 54% on the Dog that is a red flag for me to consider Indiana . Unfortunately, I have considered them and see nothing else compelling to make them a play. So I am passing on the game.
Saturday we had a busy day with 8 plays. 7 in College hoops and 1 in the NBA.
We started out losing our first two plays. Then we went on a 5 -1 run with 3 of our plays winning outright as a 12,6 and 5.5 dog! Not a bad run after a 0-2 start to the day. Our College hoops ended up 4-3 while our sole NBA play on Atlanta +5.5 was an easy winner winning the game outright by 10.
I took a look this morning as to how we are doing since going to a subscription service. I usually do not keep track of the big picture as my days are spent handicapping and updating daily records. But for some reason, I took a look.
We are +14.16 Units in the NHL, +24 units in College Hoops and + 1/2 a unit in the NBA. That is +38.5 Units since going to a subscription service in three sports.
Let me say that again +38.5 Units!!! That is quite a feat. I doubt that there are many other handicapping services around that can beat that. In addition, the small monthly subscription that covers all sports, setups and my personal opinions is a value that cannot be approached by any handicapping service. There are many services, some of who I respect, that cannot touch this and charge 1500 per sport per season.

There are many services, some of who I respect, that cannot touch this and charge 1500 per sport per season. So if you wanted these 3 sports it would cost you upward of 2,000 to 3,000 per year.
Over the years, I have been approached by several respected handicapping and bookmakers to become part of their organization. I was approached by a private group out east and also “Matchbook” bookmakers before it sold to Triplebet. I was torn between enjoying what I do or becoming part of a larger group and choose to stay with what I enjoy.
As it turns out the CEO of matchbook at the time had been following my NFL plays for a number of years. He said he had no idea how I did it but that they would like to sit down and talk with me.
Enough reminiscing:) I have gotten quite a few emails regarding my post on baseball yesterday. Many of suggestions that are quite diverse. We still have 3 weeks or so before opening day so I am going to keep taking suggestions and then make a decision. Like I said I view subscribers as part of a team that allows me to spend the money and time to handicap in ways I have not been able to do to the degree I do it.
So I always welcome input on suggestions for improving the site, improving the service, and ways to reach out to potential new subscribers. As to new subscribers, It would be great if everyone shared their experience with this service on facebook and any forums you post to. In addition, the sharing buttons really help if you share these posts every day with whatever social sharing you belong to.
On hour before tip off so I better get back to work.
Good Luck Today
