3:15 Update
Thursday we went 1-1-1 on our plays. Western Michigan U 62 was a winner and Missouri +7.5 was a loser both in college football. In the NHL Buffalo U5+122 was a push. It was an exciting game with tampa scoring a quick 3 goals then going into the last few seconds tampa was ahead 3-1 and scored with only a few seconds left to give us a tie.
You will notice that I am able to handicap the totals now in all sports. I have been wanting to do this for some time but now that I have updated my database along with other programs I can do it without spending hours and hours sorting through everything.
In the NBA its interesting tonight as there are quite a few games where the favorite has <50% of the betting. Boston 38 % -1.5 Brooklyn 37% -3 Phoenix 29% -4.5 Typically for me its either the favorite or a pass when the betting is on the dog. In college football tonight there is not any dramatic differences between the models and the lines. Last night those were pretty good especially if you had Buffalo +1.5. The difference was significant at -1 and arkansas state won the game as a 12.5 pt dog. Tonight there are plays and I will send them out to subscribers after I see they are clear. Good Luck Tonight The employment report came out and it was interpreted to be negative for the markets with the es dropping about 10 pts immediately. So far 35 min before the open the drop has not stabilized with the es down now about .4%. The market had worked off its overbought condition and going into today had a slightly positive bias. So this sell off may provide some opportunities soon. I have on 2 swing trade longs and so far in the premarket they are not getting hit. Remember last month we had a huge move to the downside on the employment report follow by a huge reversal on the same day. But volatility has decreased and I do not expect that today. So today will be managing trades and with the market no longer over bought I will be taking swing trades again long as they develop. If your trading daily using swing trades the idea is not to have a method that is going to get stopped out by every wiggle in the market but on the other hand manages losses well. Its a tough balance to figure out with nothing that is perfect but its something you need to keep in mind when figuring out your trading methods.
