We split on our nhl plays on Thurs. Today again not much in college hoops although there is one game that could be a play with a small line move. I will monitor it and if anything develops post the play.
In the nhl nothing on the two games where lines are posted. And in the nba there is a carryover from last night ….New Orleans under 189.5 Its now 190 at most offshore books.
With almost 50 college games tomorrow should be some plays…..but the lines have tightened up already….so we will see.

My Response:
No….the amount you make is contingent upon your edge x your betting volume. For example lets say your edge overall is 5%. If your a 100 dollar bettor then your expectation is to make 5 dollars for every 100 you bet. Would be very hard to make a living off of that.
But lets say your a 1,000 dollar bettor. Your expectation then is only 50 dollars a wager. Again it would be very hard to make a living being a 1,000 dollar unit bettor with a 5% edge.
Now…..I would say 99% of the sports bettors have no edge at all. And of the 1% that have a positive ev a 5% edge would be really pushing it.
So unless your in the 1% and are betting around 10,000 a game…forget about making a living off of sports betting!
