We had 2 plays on Thurs. Cleveland -110 was an easy win. Texas +125 looked like a blowout but after being behind 10-4 they came back and tied it at 10-10 but then losing in extra innings:(
Nothing early today but for those of you that haven’t discovered Matchbook.com I suggest you take a look. I got cleveland at -104 yesterday. The site matches up bettors similar to level 2 trading on the nasdaq!
Essentially you get what amount of money is available at different prices. I hope its the future in sports betting.
I got quite a large response to my idea to start sending out early plays the same as i do the late plays. Since almost all were positive about the idea I will start doing that.

The split between early and late plays is about 50-50 and I would expect that to continue through the rest of the season. These late plays are FREE. Just send me your email address and I will add you to the group receiving late plays.

Loaning Money
I have a hard and fast rule…I dont borrow and I dont lend period! There is no upside that I know of to lend out money in the poker room. The best you can do is get it back …and the worst..not get it back and make an enemy.
If you borrow….it will be hard to turn someone down to lend them money…so dont borrow no matter how tempting it is.
Have I broken this rule….of course! But only two times here in vegas. And as you would know both times I have regretted it.
The first was 100 to a dealer that gave me a sob story about needing money. Softy that I am I gave them the money and that was over a year ago. But the upside is I have probably saved 100 on not tipping that dealer.And will save much more over the years unless they quit.
The 2nd time and it will be the last was when I lent a player 3,000 …yes 3,000….who had forgot their safety
deposit box key . So I lent them 3,000 to get into the game until a friend could bring them the key later in the day. I volunteered the money without the person asking. I got the money later in the day.
But then shortly after that I went on a pretty good downswing for a few months…and for most of that time the player I lent money to needled me almost the entire time I lost and told everyone what a no good prick I was!
Human nature at work!
So save yourself a lot of grief..dont lend and dont borrow in the poker room.
