After the 2nd week I am right in the middle of the pack with a 4-4-2 record.
This week in the hilton contest:
Jacksonville +3.5
Minnesota +3.5
Houston +4
Washington +4.5
Indianapolis +10.5
My last pick I had to decide between Buffalo , KC and Indy. I decided to pass on buffalo since the public was almost 40% on them as a home dog. Then it came down to kc and indy. I was looking for any excuse not to put in kc and it was enough for me that the Hilton line was +14 when the vegas line was +14.5 That left Indy.
Now before you decide that Indy is a sure loser let me remind you that the public is over 80% on pitt. Can it be that easy?
When I head to the poker game on Saturday there is one or two players that ask me what my picks for the hilton contest are for Sunday. The first week I showed them my picks…and their only comment was “good luck” you will need it with that selection. Then they ended the comments with Buffalo has to be the worst team ever this year. Well….a 3-1-1 start with buffalo winning in a rout.
Then the 2nd week I showed them my picks and not a peep. And of course 1-3-1.
Now this week the only comment was laughter when they saw Indy. I dont need to tell you at the poker table when someone laughs at your pick that means that indy will most likely cover if not win the game. The only thing better then someone laughing at the pick is when they get mad. That puts it in the 99% cover category:)
Time will tell…..I will post any plays tomorrow.
