Monday we had one play and it was an easy winner in the NBA.
Toronto -7.5 won 131-112.
So far today I have sent out no plays.
I sent out an email and tweet to subscribers regarding the new Mod/Var/Pub% numbers I started posting on each game.
These are for subscribers that do their own handicapping. These will give you in short form a synopsis of what I do each day. It breaks the games down as to where the models, Variables and Pub% numbers point to for value on the game.
In looking these over remember for me to wager on a game all 3 have to align on one side of the game.
My message yesterday to subscribers was to point out that starting today they would be sent out via email and SMS only. And for those that wished to receive these to send me an email and I will add you to a separate group that gets these in addition to the plays.
After getting a few emails from long time subscribers who are looking for plays only, I realized that all of this new information not only might be information some people do not want but also it might be confusing to some to where they might miss a play jumbled up into these.
So it will now be separate to those who want it.
In addition, I am always looking for ways to improve this service so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know via email and I will be happy to consider it.
I have been asked about the final 4 a number of times now. My handicapping incorporates what the line does, what the public does and the relationship of moves to these % numbers. So it is premature for me to begin handicapping these until a day or so before game time.
My models certainly can give an idea but that would be the only factor that I could base anything on. Considering models are the weakest link in what I do, you will hear from me on these a day or so before game time.
We are only a few days away from MLB. Now would be a good time to jump on board and take advantage of our MLB special. Remember in order to qualify for the special you need to be a subscriber on opening day!
