“Hi Rick!
I follow your advice since a couple months now, but im still pretty new to sports betting. I found that there isnt a lot of trustable stuff out there when you try to learn hard things like sports betting…I have a lot of question but il start by : what is a reasonable and sustainable ROI for sports betting? Is 4% too optimistic? Also what do you use to keep track of bets, stats, etc. Is there something like pokertracker out there? I use sharpbettracker for the moment but i dont think its optimal…Anyway, thanks for your time and your advice, its really appreciated!”

4% is much too optimistic! If your a casual sports bettor the best you can hope for is between 1 to 2 percent ROI. Thats one of the reasons I have mentioned that if your a 50 to 100 a game bettor your ev at 2% is $1.00 to 2.00 per game. Its going to be very hard to make much money with that earn rate. Of course if your trying to qualify for free health insurance under our new health care act……Its perfect:)

The best approach to sports betting is putting aside an amount that you would not cause you any stress if you lost. Then bet 2.5% of that amount on each game. The amount you bet then will fluctuate with your bankroll size. So…if you want to start out betting 100.00 a game you will need to put aside 4,000 to start your betting.

So now your betting should be completely stress free. No guessing as to how much to wager. And if you lose your betting size will go down. It will go up as you win. The last thing you want to worry about is making money or losing money. And the making money part is really inconsequential unless you want to start increasing your bet size to 500 to 1,000 a game.

At 500 a game your would need a starting bankroll of 20,000 and 1,000 a game 40,000. Thats with a 2.5% betting target. And remember my other requirement is that if you lose your bankroll its no big deal!

Thats what I consider a realistic view of sports betting

Have a good day!
Not a very good day Sunday. 0-2 on our 1 unit college hoop plays. Both the side and total lost…and both were not close.

Our tracking setups went 1-3. *** 0-1 ** 1-2

Today a very light schedule….most likely no plays today although I will update if anything changes.

Monday College hoop tracking setups ( I do not bet these)
