A slow day in sports today so thought I would make a few comments about the ncaa basketball season.
If somone would of told me at the beginning of the season that the end result would be 187 plays and going 54.94% I would of said that would be a successful season. But to me the season was not a success. After an unbelievable start I lost my way midway through the season and never really recovered.
So a few lessons to be learned from this season:
1. What works preseason before conference play starts does not work during conferance play.
2. I believe based upon the seasons results I have isolated something that will work or at least help keep the gains from preseason.
3. During the ncaa tournament I believe then its a combination of preseason handicapping and conference play handicapping.
That will be my approach next season.
In 2009 -2010 the first season of seriously handicapping college hoops I went 111-73-3 for 60.32%
So a combined 2 seasons 211-155-8 for 57.65%
