We have been floundering the last few months, so it was nice to see a 3-0 day yesterday.
Our 1 unit play in the NBA with Orlando +12.5 won 100-110. In college hoops we had two 1/2 unit plays winning with Montana +3 83-78 and S Carolina U 139 78-60.
I have added a new category called leans new. Its based on some variables I have been tracking for some time and backtests out very well.
So far the leans new record is:
NCAA FB
Sides 0-1
Totals 3-2
NBA
Sides 1-6-1
Totals 3-3
NHL
Sides 2-0 -.08
totals 3-2 +.75
NCAA BB
Totals 1-1
The sample size is very small so far for real-time, so its a bit early to draw any conclusions. But I suspect these will pick up soon. Also, remember that backtesting does in no way guarantee success. You need ideally 1000 games for a decent sample size.
It’s hard to get that in sports betting, especially when you have new methods. So I use the 1 and 2-year rule for real-time testing.
1 year for 1/2 unit plays
2 years for 1 unit plays
That seems to work out well. However, I adjust that based on the sample size.
So let’s see how they do, it should be interesting.
In football, after getting a good start we are sitting at +.95 units in college football and -.65 units in the NFL. So we are hovering around even in football. Nothing to write home about but nothing unusual either.
I can assure you that if something happens that I feel is unusual and causes a concern in the validity of my plays my subscribers will be the first to know:)
