The stock market is slightly higher this morning lead by the Nasdaq which is +1/5%.
TLT, IBB, and Metals higher. Oil lower. Most everything else hovering around the 0 line.
To me, this is a slightly negative pre-market bias.
Its still about trade this morning with the rhetoric heating up. The fact the stock market is positive with this news is a good sign.
Other than that its the same old thing on the political front. On the geopolitical front, China is doing more saber-rattling in the S China Seas. Something to keep a watch on.
I have not taken any trades the last two day as nothing triggered for me. Today we will see how the first 10 min develops. I have a few stocks on the radar.
I also still have a basket of ETFs and Bonds primarily for income production. I am very light on non-income producing assets at this time.
That is a rather conservative stance but one that seems correct for me at this point in time.
Its Friday, and if there is Special Counsel news it is usually leaked Friday. So you have that to watch for. In addition, the Manifort trial is on its 4th day. So far no fireworks.
