Poker comments:
1. A thorough knowledge of the game your playing
As much good literature as there is out there on every poker game that is played in poker rooms there is no excuse for your not being a conscientious student of the game. Books will give you a good starting foundation to begin with to develop your game.
The way I look at it….if you spend 20.00 on a poker book and only get 1 good idea…..you have more then made up for the cost of the book. My self I read 1 or 2 poker books a month and am always looking for new books by players I respect.
Go to Gamblers Book clubs web site and give them your email address and each month you will get an email with the new books that have come out for the month.
Take the time to do the above …it will be more then worth it for you.
