Friday was an 0-2 day with Washington losing 5-4 and we missed our under on seattle by a 1/2 run:(
Those of you that have been following this blog can see the grind that is involved in betting sports. I know you see all the advertising about locks…and 60% winners but most of the gamblers that start out betting on sports are shortly disappointed. I guarantee you if anyone had a method to find locks and consistently have a 60 to 70 percent system they wouldn’t be spending there time trying to figure out how to sell it to the public!
First you have to over come the 2 to 5 % advantage the books have off the top. Thats just to break even! Consider that shooting dice the house odds are 1.414 against the player….and the house ends up getting all the money.
If your playing poker professionally you have to overcome the house rake and the tips just to break even…this is around 40,000 to 50,000 a year. So if your skill lever is such that you grind out 30,000 a year…you will end up losing 10,000 to 20,000 a year.
Thats why so many poker plays fall by the wayside….its not easy.
I have digressed a bit to try to give everyone a realty check. There is no easy money gambling….only the very best survive over the long haul.
Back to today…..I do not see any plays today…
