9:00 Update
No new plays or setups but have a baseball handicapping tip for those of you that handicap these games yourself.
A few years ago a high volume bookie I know told me that very few people beat baseball over the course of a season. And the ones that do only beat it by a little. This advice of course coincides with my results also:)
But if you handicapping baseball daily and are struggling there is a subset of games that produces value each and every year. Home Dogs where the public is 30% or less on the home dog and the dog is no more then +149. If you take these games every day and apply whatever techniques you use in your handicapping only to these games you should see your results improve dramatically!
For the rest of the season I will be listing the games that fall into this category with the public sentiment number. I will also track those games through the rest of the season.
The Games today are :
yankees +141
Colorado +126
The two games yesterday that fell into that subset were:
San Fran +110 L 2-5
Colorado +120 W 10-1
I passed on Colorado since my handicapping techniques did not show any value.
Friday we lost our 1/2 Unit play on Phil +161. It wasnt close. The bright spot was our Road dog tracking setups that went 2-0. Actually they have been the bright spot so far of the 2nd half of the season. Of course I am not betting them:)
Before I forget…I saw a great show last night at Ballys. “Veronic Voices” is an act that Celene Dion and her husband brought to Las Vegas. Veronic DiCaire is a one person show as a female impressionist of some of the best female vocalists in music. Its exceptional!
