Nothing lately and again nothing today. But today is a big day.

Its IPAD day!!!!! Mine has arrived in Las Vegas this morning and
with any luck when I get home from playing poker it will be
here waiting for me.

I am sure its just a question of time before Poker Stars has an
app for playing online for the Ipad.

Now onto more important things. Baseball opening day is Sunday with just one game and then a full lineup on Monday.

Things your should keep in mind. I have not had a winning season in baseball
since I started handicapping.

I am doing something differently this season however. I am only going
to handicap a subset of the total games that I feel has the best
opportunity to beating the spread…home dogs.

I have already did a workup of the 4 games Monday that come into this category
and 1 has potential to turn into a pick. But since public betting percentages
is an important variable many of my picks in baseball wont be released untill an hour or so before game time.

Next and as important…..do not bet a line that is more then a dime line. There is plenty available out there. Even in vegas where books post -110 on most spread
games many have dime lines now.

If you cant find a 10c line anywhere then you need to take a look what the dime line shows and not take less then that. Sometimes you can find a 20c line where the public
has bet up the favorite at the book and you can get the equivalent of a dime line. But do not take less then what a dime line would give you.

There wont be many baseball plays this season but I am optimistic when the smoke clears we will show a profit. But you follow these as always at your own peril:)

And its probably not a bad idea to reread the required reading section of this blog also!

I have scoured the 2 ncaa basketball games for some angle that might be available to pick a side on either game and I just cant find anything.
