Sunday we split on our nhl plays for a +.22 day.

Today a very light schedule. Nothing yet but will post if anything develops.

Day trading:

I have tried day trading stocks and the eminis off and on over the years. I have tried many different techniques, software packages, charting packages and none with any success. I have not even come close to a profitable method of daytrading.

The problem as I see it is your competing with very sophisticated software programs that operate with 0 slippage, very small commissions whose orders are filled immediately.

Whereas if you attempt to day trade from home. For each trade your slippage is high, your commissions can run up to 10% on the eminis or more and of course the software you use and computer connection is very inefficient compared to the big boys.

My recommendation is to save yourself a lot of time and money and pass on daytrading. I think that swing trading allows a better opportunity for profit as the hardware and software does not have to be razor sharp to compete.

I would interested in others experiences. And also if there are any services or software you are interested in…before purchasing let me know…since I am familiar with most.
