Saturday was a busy day with 7 plays and 5 setups. When the smoke cleared we went 3-4 on our plays for -.72 units less the vig on the hoop plays. We went 2-3 on our college hoop plays. We had several nail biters that did not go our way. In the NHL we went 1-1 for +.28 units but not without some excitement. Both our NHL plays were down 3-1 but Boston came back tied the game and went on to win 4-3(whew)!
Our setups in college hoops fared poorly going 1-4. Not much more to say on this except I have been asked why I even put them out. They run hot and cold but it gives you an idea of my mind and how it works. For instance, there were several setups that had a huge % of the betting on them. But these are very rare situations where public numbers seem not to have any relevance. They have been backtested and back test very well. Ideally, if your doing your own handicapping and see that you are leaning toward the other side of these setups you might want to take another look. That what these set ups are for. To make it to the play category requires quite a bit of real-time confirmation of the backtests. Sort of like NFL Totals that will now be a play next season.
Today we should have several plays but we get to relax a bit from the hectic 100 game schedule! Those are really hectic days to say the least.
