Wedn we had an nba play and it lost. It looks like I am more then likely to continue my losing ways in the nba. Perhaps one of these days I will figure out something that works:)
Market is gapping up over .5% so more then likely no swing trades today especially with the market rebounding in the last few hours of trading on Wedn. I do put on short swing trades but the requirements are so severe that they dont come up that often.
I have just started for the day so will update after I have looked over the games today.

Rick,
I would really like to know more about your swing trades. I did notice however when you put the trades on the market had dropped significantly and you put the trades on with extremely bad news. A tsunami in Japan with the possibility of a nuclear meltdown and revolt in libya . How can you put on long trades with that type of news in the media.
My response:
My swing trades are classified as mean reversion trades. A simple explanation is that humans who trade the markets tend to oversell and overbuy so that stocks reach extremes not based upon fundamentals but fear and greed. So when this happens my methods seek to identify and capture part of the reversion back.
As far as the news usually that is the catalyst to cause the overbuying and overselling. I have found you need to worry much more about the market moving when there is no news.
Also another thing you usually have going for you is the news is never as bad as it seems. The media almost always sensationalizes most everything helping the fear along.
