We got a push on our under play Monday. What looked like an easy win turned into a push with balt and boston scoring 5 in the 8th.
Nothing early today I can see…but it looks like there should be some late plays.
The split between early and late plays is about 50-50 and I would expect that to continue through the rest of the season. These late plays are FREE. Just send me your email address and I will add you to the group receiving late plays.

Seat Selection
Until a few years ago my strategy was simple as to seat selection. I wanted the loose players on my right and the tight players on my left. Now I have made a few changes.
The super tight players it really dosnt matter where you sit in relation to them at the table. All things being equal they are safe on your left side. The player you dont want on your left is the super aggressive tricky player. If you leave him on your left you are going to end up with a lot of problem solving to do for the day.
Now ideally the person I want on my left is the one that raises a lot of hands…and importantly can be counted on to follow through on the flop and turn. That way when your in a pot and get a great flop…you are going to dramatically increase your win being able to check raise the turn with hopefully a lot of players in the middle. This type of player is hard to find but when you do…..make it a point to sit right next to him on his right.
Now if you have a player that raises a lot with substandard hands…but is not reliable as to what they are going to do on the flop and turn I have found the best place to have that player is about 5 seats from you…ie halfway. The reason is I am going to be doing a lot of 3 betting against that player. Isolating him with the best hand and the best position.
If he is sitting immediately to my right then I face the risk of 1 or more players waking up with a hand behind me. If he is across the table that risk decreases.
Of course after the game starts players move and quit with new players coming into the game. Try to figure out each hour where the best seat in the game is…and then try to get there.
You are going to find players moving all the time in the game. Most of the time its because they are trying to find a hot seat or get out of a cold seat rather then anything strategic.
