We had no plays on Monday and none early today. But there are several that are close so expect a late play or 2 this evening.

Sunday’s Omaha 8 Session(revisited)
I received a few emails on the 2347 hand I played. Most wanted to know how I could lose much money on the hand without an A hitting the board on the flop.
Let me go through the hand with you. About 5 players limped and it was 1/2 a unit to me being in the small blind.
The flop came 865 with 2 diamonds. This is an ok flop but there were 5 other players in the hand and it was a loose game. So my strategy was to bet the flop and see what developed but not take any punishment on the hand if it was 2bets back to me.
Much to my surprise I only had 2 callers. The first was the person that had turned over 2228 on the previous hand. The 2nd was another loose player that plays about anything. So I was feeling ok about the hand at that point.
The Turn was an offsuit K. I bet out and got raised by Mr. 2228. I liked that since headup I am in much better shape. But the 2nd player called. The last card was a diamond. I checked the 2nd player bet with 2 calls.
Of course Mr. 2228 turns over A23 and the other player had 2 little diamonds and I got nothing. The other player called 2 big bets with only a diamond draw that might not of been good if he hit!
In any event that was my last hand of the session:)
