We lost our baseball play on Atlanta Monday but Washington covered for a 3-2 weekend in the Hilton contest bringing my record to 7-6-2. I have been in worse spots after the first three weeks:)

Today in Baseball nothing likely.

I will update later if anything develops.

Poker Comment:

I have been playing at the Venetian lately since the Omaha 8 game at the Bellagio has not gone for quite awhile now.

An interesting development happened a few days ago. I was in a pot head up. At the end I bet and got a call. I layed down my hand and the other player folded throwing his cards in face down.

The dealer however didnt kill his hand and also waited a bit and did not push me the pot. In the meantime the other player decided to take another look at his hand picking it up. He looked at it for a about a min and then threw it in again face down.

The dealer again did not kill his hand nor did the dealer push me the pot! No after about 30 seconds the dealer made the comment to me that If I wanted she would kill his hand and give me the entire pot.

At that point I told her to turn over his hand and if he was entitled to part of the pot to give it to him.

She did and he had the nut low. He thought we were playing just omaha high. The dealer obviously saw his hand and didnt think it was fair I should get the whole pot.

Just when you think you had seen it all:)
