Monday we lost our 1/2 unit play on Okl St -2. The line moved up to -3 by game time and about 1.5 min left in the game we were ahead by 3…but the endgame did not go our way.
Today we have a carry over from a few weeks ago….a 1 unit play on Northwestern +2.5. The line is now Northwestern +1
So far nothing I can see on the rest of the games today..however I will be watching the line moves and public numbers to see if anything shows up today.
We put on a swing trade with the market over sold and in anticipation of a deal on the fiscal cliff. We have 200 UPRO at 84.90 It closed Monday at 88.24. A 3.34 gain or 3.9% in a day. Monday very very late the Senate passed a bill to avert the fiscal cliff. The house takes it up today which If it passes there is a reasonable chance of another big up day on Wedn with the fiscal cliff avoided. If this occurs we most likely will be out of UPRO by the end of the day. UPRO moves in the same direction of the SP500 but 3 times the move the SP500 makes. Should be interesting.
