A timeline for the UK Vote:
My intent this morning was to wake up and see delightfully the markets severely red! Then my intention was to swing trade long for the Vote today. So how did it go Rick:) Markets are gapping up almost .80% an hour before the open.
So where do I go from here? It’s 8 hours before the vote is over and the polls show it too close to call. I anticipate this gap is going to be closed somewhat today as we get closer to the end of the voting. The markets are a nervous creature. It would be out of character for them not to worry in this situation.
However, I am sure I am not alone in this strategy so we will have to wait and see what develops this morning before figuring out what to do. I may have waited a day too long or maybe not. We will see:)

One event that most likely has the participants in this rally gleeful is the weather now in England. Torrential downpours and flooding forcing polling stations to close. Therefore the logic goes that reduced voting means a better chance of staying in.
I have lost because of the weather in handicapping sports from time to time but on a swing trade:)
Back to trying to figure out a swing trade for today.
