On Saturday we had 3 plays in College Football and went 2-1.
Boston College +6.5 and Kansas St +4 were both winners. While Arizona St +2.5 lost
Our Bet or Pass games did not fare so well. For those of you that have been following me over the years, the Bet or Pass games are for those that do some handicapping themselves.
They do not even qualify for a 1/2 unit play but they something in the game that indicates that side has a bias.
I never wager on these and unless you are doing your own handicapping you should not either. They do make good filters and that is about it.
It is Week 5 now in the Westgate NFL Supercontest. I went 4-1 last week and now sit at 12-7-1 or right about 63%.
I started week 5 out with a pick on Dallas +11.5 and it lost, so I have some work to do today:)
My Westgate picks in the order I liked them at the time:
Colts +10.5 (L)
Detroit +1
Cleveland +3
Seattle +7
Giants +7
This was not an easy week for me. Even though some of the games are one-sided with the public, still there was very little that was clear. I will be very happy to salvage a 3-2 weekend.
The Westgate top 5 last week went 3-2 and now sits at 10-10. If you follow these you know that these are spectacular results compared to what they have done in the past. Last year my memory tells me they were around 33% at this point.
All things being equal you want to be fading the top 5.
This week the Westgate top 5 is:
Baltimore
Rams
Tenn
Arizona
Washington
I am on none of the top 5, and fading the top 2 picks. Not a bad spot to be.
So far today in the NFL, I have sent out 1 play and 1 Bet or Pass
Good Luck Today
